Buxted Parish (Buxted, High Hurstwood, Five Ashdown, and Coopers Green)
is situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and
has many varied and interesting walk including parts of the famous Weald Way and
the Vanguard Way |
| The Buxted Parish Map - some walks and
points of interest - A warning - this page takes a while to download
(2mins @ 28K), but it's worth it. It contains information from the 'Buxted
Parish Map - A Guide to the Footpaths & Places of Interest in our Parish',
produced by the Parish Council and sponsored by many local groups and
businesses
|
| Buxted Village Walk - The Buxted
Walk also takes a while to download, but again worthwhile - being a guided route
through the village with commentary on buildings and local history.
|
| All the footpaths marked on the 'Definitive Map' are currently being
surveyed, and the progress of te current survey can be viewed at Footpath
Database, and maps showing the location of each paths can be viewed at All
Footpaths
|
| There are also pages covering recent footpaths changes, and Rules &
Regulations applying to footpaths.
