Neighbourbood
Watch (NHW)
As a caring community, we have an active Neighbourhood Watch scheme
and
there is a designated assistant co-ordinator for your road, who should
make contact with you shortly after your arrival. If you wish to find out
more
about NHW, please contact the village co-ordinator. If you are on
e-mail, you
may also wish to join the Buxted Parish e-Community, which
was set up primarily to
relay to villagers prompt and accurate NHW
information received from
Sussex Police.
If you are already a member of BPeC, you can now get straight into the BPeC
Yahoo group without having to remember how by simple following the link to
the left or this link

Halls
Events to which the public are invited are normally held in either the
Reading Room, or St. Mary's Church Hall, both of which are in Church
Road.

Messenger
Published monthly, this lively magazine will keep you informed of current
village and church life and activities. There are regular monthly articles
from
the Parish Council, the Women's Institute and the churches, together
with
periodic articles from the various clubs and societies. It also
contains the
village diary, which is a mine of information on future
events and activities.
The magazine is available from the village shop,
the railway station, St.
Margaret's and St. Mary's Church, or
delivered to
your door each month on subscription. The magazine is compiled
