Minutes of the meeting of 18th December 2007 at 7.45pm at the

White Hart Pub.

Present: Laura Warner, Michelle Warner, Amelia Johnson, Simon Roys , Matt Warner.

Apologies: Alice Endersby, Ruby Taylor, Millie Spink

Meeting: Tuesday 18^th December at the White Hart pub. 7.45 pm

1. The group elected Laura as chair for the meeting.

2. Minutes form the last meeting, these were approved.

3. Parish Council report, - Michelle reported that she would be submitting attendance records to Colin Reed for attendance allowances to be paid.

4. Fashion Show and Quiz- still waiting for confirmed dates.

5. Ice Skating – only two forms had been returned, Simon requested a new form.

6. Votes at 16, this was discussed it was agreed that Next Step are in favour of this proposed change.

7. Children and young person’s bill- this was considered it dealt mainly with children in care. No one felt able to comment fully.

8. The new landlady was welcomed (Bridget) she said that her daughter may join, she is 14 and will be attending St Pauls School as UCTC is full (year 10).

9. Carols and conifers – a reminder for this event was given.

10. Any other business- Laura said that she did not think that members who chatted privately throughout a meeting should receive their allowance. It was decided that as the allowance was to attend and not to participate this would not be possible, but could be resolved by stricter chairing of meetings.

The date of the next meeting will be Tues 15th January 2008 at 7.45pm at the White Hart Pub.
