The Council
objects to this application unless the garage is tied to the
house as an ancillary building - ideally by a Section 106
agreement - that appropriate screening is reinstated (it was
removed shortly before the application was considered) to screen
the building from the adjoining property, that the use of other
ancillary buildings as living accommodation is stopped and that
permitted development rights are removed. The height of the
proposed building is considerable and measures to reduce it
should be assessed.

objects to this application. The design of the proposals is out
of character with the area and is considered an overdevelopment.
The size and position of the proposed dormer, notwithstanding
that it has been slightly reduced in this latest application,
will have a detrimental visual effect and is not in accordance
with the Wealden Design Guide Section 10.7 para 7.5. Any removal
of trees and hedges will results in overlooking of neighbours.
