As previously stated in the decision notices for application
numbers WD/2007/3571/F and WD/2007/3583/F, the proposed detached
garage by reason of massing, inappropriate design, scale, and
forward location on the plot would result in a prominent and
visually incongruous new feature which would be disruptive to
and out of character with the appearance of the street scene, to
the detriment of the visual amenities thereof. Furthermore the
proposed development if approved would result in a cumulative
level of development equal to that of the previously refused
application and one which would have a significant effect on
neighbouring properties.

should seek to reduce the ridge line of the garage.
